Hydro-Design was founded in 1985 by Egil Ranvig. Together with his friend Tom Martens Meyer, their boats won countless offshore races, including European and World championship races, setting world speed records.
Taking all this experience from offshore racing, Egil Ranvig set upon the quest to make some of the most beautiful and fastest day cruisers in the world. And that’s how it all started for Cormate.
