​Designed and developed in Norway by Hydro Design AS since 1985, Cormate offer a bespoke built, classically styled range of high performance family sports boats. 

Hydro-Design was founded in 1985 by Egil Ranvig. Together with his friend Tom Martens Meyer, he developed the enterprise from producing affordable waterski boats to increasingly sophisticated racing boats. These boats won countless Offshore races, including European and World championship races and they also set world speed records. Taking all his experience from offshore racing Egil Ranvig set upon the quest to make some of the most beautiful and fastest daycruisers in the world. And that’s how it all started for Cormate.
